Linnahall's vast interior is largely abandoned and usually closed to the public due to safety concerns. The main concert venue shut down in 2010. However, you can still explore these empty spaces by booking an official guided tour through the Estonian Centre for Architecture.

These tours cost around €15 to €25. They offer a rare look at the original 1980s Soviet design, raw concrete corridors, and the massive main stage.

This massive, symmetrical concert hall features heavy use of local limestone. It famously served as the stand-in for the Kyiv Opera House in Christopher Nolan’s 2020 film Tenet. Access is only possible if you book an official tour with the Estonian Centre for Architecture.

The Vintage Corridors

20 minutesBring a flashlight

The dusty hallways showcase original 1980s Soviet aesthetics and retro signage. You will walk past raw concrete finishes that reflect the building's brutalist design. Bring a flashlight or ensure your phone is fully charged, as interior lighting is very minimal.
